This medication is used by people of suffering from gut disease where they are unable to completely absorb and use the vitamin or Methylcobalamin and may be at risk of vitamin B-12 deficiency. It plays a key role in the functioning of the brain and nervous system and in the formation of the red blood cells, other than this, it is responsible for the protection and regeneration of neurons. Lack of this vitamin causes depression (the reasons not clear why). The drug comes into use when you have low levels of vitamin b12 in your body, which causes you to feel weak, fatigued and experience slow thinking.
